I came to coding the long way round. Before I wrote my first line of HTML, I'd run my own event technology business — deploying interactive touchscreen installations at high-profile events — managed everything from the kit to the client, and built something from scratch as a single parent with very little safety net. Now I'm channelling that same instinct into frontend development. In the last two months I've shipped several projects: a weather app, a notes tool, a trilingual vocabulary trainer, and Verbarium — my personal dictionary of words that probably should exist but don't yet. I'm a quick learner who thrives on making things, and I'm drawn to roles where creativity and technical skill sit in the same room.
